  • did you say foldable?

One of the best products I have seen at the last EUROBIKE was this foldable helmet by CARRERA. Inspired by the Danese the old pistards’ helmet made in leather, the new foldable helmet is the revolution in the city bike protection. Its neverseen flexible frame gives you the best comfort ever tried, with no compromise on safety, and you will find the perfect fitting thanks to the elastic fitting system. It can be used in any kind of situation on the bike and then folded in a bag when you don’t need it any more. When folded it will save more than the 20% of the space, to pack it in your bag. With the adjustable belt you can easily fold your helmet while not cycling. Then with the metal clip it can be hooked to the bike or to the trousers loop. When you are back on the saddle, it will save your pants from the chain as an ankle band. With his EN 1078 certification the foldable helmet will be available starting from December 2012 in seven shiny colors, orange-red-blue-lime-purple-white and black. Must have!

  • Il Lombardia

Only five days to go, the countdown continues for the sexiest finale di stagione. The novelty for this 2012 edition of IL LOMBARDIA is the re-introduction of the Muro di Sormano, one  of the most devastatingly steep climb I have ever climbed. Apparently, only 2 km long, with an average gradient of 15% but with sections of between 25/27% and the last 500 meters at 19% the climb will not decide the final winner but many big names could see their Lombardia ending here.
